AGCC JKT01 Data Center: Construction Underway on 150MW Campus in Jakarta
Opening Overview
In June 2026, AGCC officially commenced construction of its flagship JKT01 data center within the GIIC Industrial Park in Jakarta, Indonesia. The facility is planned with a total IT capacity of 150MW, designed to meet the accelerating demand for AI computing infrastructure across Southeast Asia.
Secured Power Supply Infrastructure
Prior to site mobilization, the AGCC project team concluded extensive technical and commercial negotiations with Indonesia's state-owned power utility, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN). Formal contracts have been executed, securing dedicated grid capacity and long-term stable power intake for the entire campus. Key terms regarding grid connection schemes, capacity allocation, and local compliance requirements have been finalized, ensuring the reliable operation of the facility.
2. Master Planning & Design
The campus master plan features independent server hall blocks, centralized chiller plants, power substations, and auxiliary operation facilities. The design is optimized for high-density AI workloads and targets an annual PUE below 1.25. The facility is being built to comply with local Indonesian building codes and is designed to meet Uptime Tier-III standards for reliability.
3. Site Mobilization & Current Progress
Site preparation is advancing on schedule. Initial site leveling and temporary access roads have been completed. Following the groundbreaking ceremony, piling and civil engineering works have officially commenced. Multiple large-scale rotary drilling rigs and heavy lifting equipment have been mobilized to the site.
4. Operational Execution
To mitigate the impact of local high temperatures and the ongoing rainy season, the project team has implemented a cross-time-zone coordination mechanism and a 24/7 shift work schedule. These measures ensure that all critical path milestones remain on track. Currently, pile foundation installation is progressing smoothly.
